I’ll be presenting my poster at AGU on Thursday December 13 from 8-12.
My work experimentally investigates how dense particles like detrital zircons are transported in rivers as bedload.
It turns out that heavy particles move substantially slower than quartz, and have a much longer travel time from source to sink.
